Akin Batmaz’s book on “Real estate acquisitions by foreign individuals in Turkey” is published
The objective of the book is to help foreign individuals to understand the path to ownership of a real estate and describing the procedure of Turkish citizenship through investments.
25 January 2022, Bodrum, Muğla.- Turkish Lawyer Akin Batmaz’s book on “Foreign individual’s real estate acquisitions in Turkey” has recently been published, by Adalet Publishing House, one of Turkey’s leading law-books publisher.
The objective of the book is to help foreign individuals to understand the path to ownership of a real estate, to address the current laws governing the acquisition of (by way of purchasing or inheriting) real estates in Turkey and to describe the procedure of Turkish citizenship through investments.
About the Author
Co-Founder of Batmaz & Arslanparcasi Law Firm, Akin Batmaz specializes in real estate law with a special focus on acquisition of real estates by foreign individuals in Turkey. Born in 1973, Akın Batmaz is graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ankara University. He has also completed his postgraduate study in the same university on international private law. During his postgraduate study, his research work extensively was on legal studies on acquisition of real estates by foreign individuals in Turkey, their legal problems, law applicable on inheritance & succession, and acquisition of Turkish citizenship through purchase of real estate in Turkey.
Being a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences in the Ege University, Batmaz is also continuing his legal studies on the international environmental conventions ratified by Turkey, and on the international dimensions of environmental impact assessments of industrial enterprises.
He is member to Mugla Bar Association.
